It took me a long time to understand that I needed professional guidance and support to address the emotional, physical and mental protections I had spent my life building up as a black woman living in predominantly white spaces.
Living in Maine, the whitest state demographically in the U.S., my racial awareness was at an all-time high as I consistently witnessed racial injustice on a local and national scale. I felt suffocated, I felt stagnant, and I felt isolated. I was at a place in my life where I knew, within the deepest part of my being, that I was seeking love, forgiveness, and healing.
Over the past two years of working with Natasha Wilson, I have been able to identify that the only way to heal, the only way to move forward, is to dive deep, into my root pain, into the depths of my turmoil and surround the narrative with gentleness and kindness. Give it space, give it light, give it care, give it gratitude, repeat. I am constantly repeating this process.
There are days when the process feels frustrating and draining, but more often, when I dig in, when I prioritize the work, I feel new root systems growing and taking hold, I feel authentic, and I feel sovereign. My root hurt lies in my youth, in the heart and mind of a little girl who was left behind. I have gone back for her, giving her all of the love and stability she deserves. Natasha says when we heal ourselves, we heal seven generations into our past and seven generations into the future. My healing spans space and time, like an Octavia Butler novel coming to life. I heal for me, for my ancestors, and for a future beyond my imagination.
My journey with Natasha is just beginning, we are rebuilding the foundation for generational abundance and I am positively obsessed.

I began working with Natasha to help me address how trauma created issues of anxiety and struggles to set healthy boundaries. Natasha helped me to understand how my nervous system and neural pathways were conditioned to be reactive in ways that may have been helpful to protect me during immediate crises, but caused chaos when trying to maintain healthy routines in everyday life. Her high level of knowledge and skill as a therapist and also a Spiritual coach has been incredibly helpful in teaching me how to undo these patterns, and to practice establishing more conscious methods of interpreting information and processing emotions.
Natasha served as a guide for my ex-partner and I as we moved through a challenging divorce. I continue to see Natasha to this day, to help me peel back the many layers of how trauma has shaped my self-perception and the ways I engage other people. I feel myself consistently healing, sometimes using my sessions to navigate old issues as they resurface, and other times, due to Natasha’s excellent guidance, I have freed up enough space and energy to dig even deeper and confront the more nuanced and hard-to-reach imprints that limit my life’s possibilities. This includes layers of unresolved pain that I inherited from generations before me.
It’s amazing how Natasha has the ability to create an intimate space virtually. Each time I work with Natasha, I feel as though I’ve been blessed with a master class in living my life free from chains of the past, and as a divine reflection of all that is Sacred.

Working with Natasha has been profoundly transformational...I can honestly say that her practice is rightly named, “The Journey Home.” I have begun to develop a sense of self that is grounded in my own self-concept and truth. She has helped me unlock and process traumas of the past and connect to my spirit and begin to heal. Every day since working with her, I am gifted a sense of deep knowing, “I am okay.” That is something I have struggled with for a long time. She has helped me tune into myself and the world around me in a way that is empowering, true, and confident. I recommend Natasha to anyone looking to reconnect, or connect for the first time, with their inner self. She has an amazing way of helping you find and live in your truth. That is a really good feeling. More and more I find myself living life in the present moment, mindful of the space around me and in me, and I am looking forward to continuing in my journey home.

Working with Natasha has been transformational for me. My friends and family often remark how my personal confidence has grown and personally, I know I am different in a very positive way. I feel lighter and brighter from the inside out and I have watched my life revolutionise. With Natasha's support, I am truly finding myself, connecting to who I really am, and enjoying the journey. In my everyday life, I am making better decisions, forging stronger relationships and enjoying opportunities I might not have even noticed before. Natasha very compassionately challenges me to continue becoming my best, she supports me when I need it and inspires me when I'm ready. The work is deep, interesting and fun. I cannot recommend her highly enough and truly thank my lucky stars I've found her to help me through both my darkest and brightest days. Thank you, Natasha.

I love working with Natasha so much. When I started my sessions with her I was lost, grieving and hardly knew myself. She is gentle, knowledgeable and firm, guiding my attention where it needs to go and giving me lots of affirmation and resources to turn to. After working with her for over six months I can hear her voice in my head when I'm feeling unsure, reminding me that I have the strength and knowledge within myself to move forward.

Natasha is very insightful. Her years of education and experience show in the way she approaches counseling. I feel understood and respected and have come to a better place in myself through working with Natasha. I was paired with her as a counselor by chance but if I had it to do over again and was given a choice, there isn't anyone else I would choose!

I have been working with Natasha for two months, and have come a long way with her help. She has an excellent understanding of trauma and the process of healing from the effects of trauma. She has guided me through several exercises and always been supportive and patient and addressed any of my concerns and queries.

Natasha is both a wonderful counselor and person. I came to her a few months ago to help me to address some anxiety and panic issues, and I'm pleased to say that I have been able to already reach several of my therapy goals as a result of what I really feel has been a joint effort. Natasha is very knowledgeable and uses CBT techniques complemented by other approaches. I have felt completely supported by her throughout the time we've worked together, her positivity, warmth, and lack of judgement creates the perfect environment to foster self growth. Natasha has helped be to gain the skills and perspective necessary to overcome my problems, and in addition to this I feel positive that with continued work together I will reach more goals than I ever imagined at the beginning of therapy. I would completely recommend working with her.

I was really impressed by Natasha. Started right in with forming goals and giving homework, which I need. Checked in when didn't hear from me. Wouldn't let me avoid which I tend to do! Highly recommend her and hope to get her back once I find a job.

Natasha is a great person to talk to. In the time that we've been speaking, she's given me insights that I haven't had with previous counselors. I feel that we have a good connection and I feel completely at ease with her. You can tell that she really cares and knows what you need to make progress. I'd highly recommend her.

Natasha is a very professional, intelligent, but down-to-earth lady. I felt a wonderful connection with her. She asks the right questions and the advice that she has given, along with mental exercises and other writing "homework" has proved to be incredibly helpful to me. I haven't had great success with psychologists in the past, so she has reaffirmed that there still are great minds who really care, and want to help and see us succeed.
